The brothers returned to create, and they brought two siblings Kazuo along with Yukio to join the development team. Yukio who was an engineering student at the mechanical school, helped the team in designing the blueprints as well. Tadoa and Kazuo handled the manufacturing.
In 1956, after six years of development, design and resolving issues or bugs. They was close to adding continuos multipliers to their new invention. But, Toshio decided to make major design changes which would turn the calculator entirely electronic. The solenoid design they had built their initial idea on was replaced using electronic relays.
